My path to becoming a Mental Health Counselor has been anything but traditional—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Before entering the counseling field, I spent years traveling and training horses, living a life that required grit, adaptability, and resilience.
After becoming a mother, I experienced my own mental health struggles. Navigating that chapter while raising children shifted something in me. I understand firsthand how overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting life can feel—especially for women who are carrying so much for everyone else. That experience ultimately led me back to school to pursue my passion for mental health counseling.
I recently completed my clinical internship and am now beginning my private practice, where I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for women to feel heard, understood, and empowered.
As a mother of two and part of a blended family, I understand the beauty and complexity of family life. I know the pressures women face—the balancing act, the identity shifts, and the expectations.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me running, hiking, biking, reading, creating art, or traveling with my family. I deeply believe in the healing power of connection and meaningful conversation.
